Using uniView's Set Top Box as a Component for Broadband

uniView Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq:UVEW) and Microsoft team to deliver the broadband video media of the future at Streaming Media West 2000.

During the Streaming Media West 2000 show, Windows Media Video See Windows Media formats.  will be presented using the Windows Media Player Digital jukebox software for Windows from Microsoft that plays a variety of audio, video and streaming formats including MP3, WMA, CD audio and MIDI. Starting with Version 6.2 in 1999, the Windows Media Rights Manager was added for securing copyrighted content.  running on the uniView(R) set top box during Steve Ballmer's keynote on Dec. 12 and featured in a home entertainment environment in the Microsoft booth in the main exhibit hall.

Demonstrating these technologies further emphasizes the direction of how content will be delivered to the home as broadband connectivity expands throughout the world.
