tglo, the VoIP division of theglobe.com (OTCBB:TGLO), announced today the availability of its tglophone for users of Myspace.com (NYSE:NWS) and Friendster.com. Members of those social networks can now "overlay" their community experience with state-of-the-art, high quality voice communications.

Leveraging VoIP 2.0, community users can now "click to call" any friend for free from their computers. The service allows members of the MySpace(R) and Friendster(R) communities to download a browser helper application which adds "click to call" capabilities to any of the friends in their social networks. The word "Call" and a phone icon are rendered by the user's browser next to their friend's names. The service also includes FREE voicemail and conferencing for up to 6 users.

"VoIP 2.0" is the overlaying of VoIP capabilities onto the Internet itself. Users of VoIP are no longer tethered into a single community or softphone application. With tglophone, users take their VoIP with them as they travel the Internet, allowing voice to be added to their social networks. Users will no longer need to open a separate application, log on, or build multiple directory listings of their friends and contacts. Instead, calling capabilities become a part of the actual browsing experience.
