FEEDER had a lucky escape after playing a red-hot gig in Glasgow.

The band's crew were en route to their next venue in Lincoln after rocking the Barrowland last week when their tour bus exploded into flames on the M62.

Members of the shocked Welsh band were travelling in a separate vehicle and were unharmed.

The driver spotted flames and smoke coming from the back of the bus and pulled over to safety.

Tour gear, merchandise and all the 13 passengers' belongings were lost.

Sports chain JD Sports JD Sports, part of the John David Group and now more commonly known as just 'JD', is a sports-fashion retail company based in Bury, England with shops throughout the UK.  came to their rescue by kitting them out at the gig for free.
