telecom technologies Acquires Sequel Systems; Sequel to Enhance OSS, Billing and Provisioning Capabilities, Ensuring End-to-End Solutions for Service Providers.


RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 9, 1999--

telecom technologies inc., a leading provider of telecommunications software products and services, today announced it has acquired Sequel Systems Inc., a provider of data migration and system implementation services to the telecommunications industry. Terms of the agreement were undisclosed.

telecom technologies will augment its years of experience in intelligent networking products and services with Sequel's OSS expertise and methodology to offer next generation OSS systems for converged networks. telecom technologies' products include its INtelligentIP(TM) softswitch controller, INtelligentACD(TM) network ACD (Automatic Call Distributor) A computerized phone system that responds to the caller with a voice menu and connects the call to the appropriate agent.
