peermusic's Writers and Artists Receive 25 Nominations in This Year's 2003 Latin Grammy Awards.

With the announcement of the Latin Grammy nominees this year, peermusic's writers and artists were nominated for 25 awards for 2003.

They continue this tradition with this year's peer nominees, which includes Juanes' five nominations for "Record Of The year" ("Es Por Ti"); "Album of The Year" ("Un Dia Normal"); "Song Of The Year" ("Es Por Ti"); "Best Rock Solo Vocal Album" ("Un Dia Normal"); and "Best Rock Song" ("Mala Gente"). Micky Huidobro of Molotov Molotov: see Perm, Russia. picked up four nominations for "Record of the Year" ("Frijolero"); "Best Rock Album By a Duo or Group With Vocal" ("Dance and Dense Denso"); "Best Rock Song" ("Frijolero"); and "Best Music Video" ("Frijolero"). Legendary composer, arranger and producer Bebu Silvetti received posthumous nominations for "Record of the Year" ("Hasta Que Vuelvas") and Producer of the Year.

Additionally, Thalia Thalia (thəlī`ə, thā`lēə): see Muses and Graces. received a nomination for "Best Female Pop Vocal Album" ("Thalia"), newcomer Patty Cabrera was nominated for "Best Christian Album" ("Amar A Alguien Como Yo"); and Gato Barbieri for "Best Latin Jazz Album" ("The Shadow of A Cat").

Other peermusic writers to have tracks on Latin Grammy nominated albums include Luis Sarmiento, Jorge Luis Chacin, Domingo Federico & Homero Exposito, Alcoine, Bruno & Marrone, Chitaozinho & Xororo, Gian & Giovani, Milionario & Jose Rico, Comitiva Brasil, and Zeze Di Camargo e Luciano.
