openQ Adds Three Industry Veterans to Sales, Professional Services and Customer Support Management Teams.


Leading provider of key relationship management solutions expands leadership as a result of substantial company growth

An industry veteran with over 20 years of sales, marketing and business development experience, Ted Pine has joined openQ as vice president of sales and marketing. In this position, he will be responsible for overall business development efforts, including expanding an already substantial customer base within the life sciences industry, while managing a global sales team.

Prior to joining openQ, Pine served as the senior director of strategic accounts for Leadership in Medicine, Inc., a Vermont-based provider of critical competitive intelligence on opinion and thought leader in specific medical market niches. Within this role, Pine established major new accounts at leading pharmaceutical firms including Eli Lilly Eli Lilly can refer to:

Additionally, openQ has appointed Stephen Saxton to the role of vice president of professional services. Saxton's role will include managing customer relationships, building and growing new businesses and developing innovative growth strategies for openQ. With more than 23 years of professional experience, Saxton was most recently with Ariba, Inc., a California-based leading spend management solutions provider. As a global account manager, and with over six years logged with Ariba, Saxton was responsible for building advisory relationships with senior executives within enterprise client base and managing ongoing sales to existing enterprise accounts in the central region.

In an effort to meet the ever changing needs of customers, openQ has named Suresh Veeravalli the director of quality and customer support. In this role, Veeravalli will be responsible for of the full spectrum of openQ's quality and customer support programs and activities. A Six Sigma Not to be confused with Sigma 6.

 Green Belt, Veeravalli joins openQ from Wachovia Securities Wachovia Securities, located in Richmond, Virginia (soon to be moved to St. Louis), is the third largest brokerage firm in the United States as of 2006 with $689 billion retail client assets under management. It is a subsidiary of Wachovia Corporation. , a Virginia-based brokerage and asset management company. Veeravalli brings a range of experience to openQ including testing, developing and managing quality programs, establishing customer facing organizations and routines in software arena across industries and functional areas.
