netMAXimo, Inc., founded as the first comprehensive e-business solutions provider to Latin America, has become the initial company to enter Cenetec's Miami technology accelerator.

The announcement was made jointly today by Scott Adams, president of Cenetec, which is developing a series of technology accelerators along the InternetCoast, and Priscilla E. Tudela, netMAXimo Chief Executive Officer. Tudela heads a veteran technology team with extensive Latin American business roots from senior roles with top-tier high tech firms PeopleSoft, Oracle and Corio, as well as Internet start-up ZonaFinanciera.com.

The company, founded in McLean, Virginia, and with offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina, relocated its headquarters to Cenetec's temporary Miami quarters this week. netMAXimo's initial management team of 6 will move to Cenetec's 18,000-square-foot technology accelerator at 191 NE 40th Street when that space is completed in the third quarter of this year.

netMAXimo was established in January, 2000 to offer Web-based solutions that propel Latin American businesses into the digital age. These include:

Tudela most recently was vice president of sales and operations for ZonaFinanciera.com. Previously she was a global director for Oracle's Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing division and was PeopleSoft Latin America's vice president for Customer Service to include Account Management, Business Development, Professional Services and Customer Care.

Chief Operations Officer Don Pepper has 17 years experience in trade negotiations, banking and international politics, most recently serving as vice president of business development at ZonaFinanciera.com where he put in place the company's operating infrastructure throughout Latin America. Chief Technology Officer Saulo Bomfim, an ASP industry expert, held senior technology positions with Corio and PeopleSoft, and co-founded AppCore with netMAXimo Chief Financial Officer Andre Teixeira. Teixeira, a licensed CPA in Florida, began his career at Ernst & Young and was vice president of finance for a Mars, Inc., subsidiary and controller of Pepsi's Brazilian operations.

Cenetec is headquartered at Blue Lake Corporate Center in Boca Raton, Florida, where it also has a 25,000-square-foot technology accelerator underway. Companies are expected to begin taking occupancy there in June.
