In this role, Bastable is responsible for establishing and building nCipher's sales territory in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Joining nCipher in 1999, Bastable has grown EMEA sales over 700 percent, and has been instrumental in opening a new nCipher office in France. Prior to nCipher, Bastable held key management positions at Network Associates and Dr. Solomon's which Network Associates purchased in 1998. In his most recent role there, Bastable was responsible for the sales and marketing of security and network software. Between 1985-93, Bastable held management roles at Softsel UK, P&P Group and C2000. Bastable started his career at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he worked on PC-related accounts. Bastable graduated in Business Studies and went on to earn his post graduate degree in marketing from Bristol, England.
