:MODG) today announced the details of a music licensing agreement signed with UK-based record label Ministry of Sound.

The agreement provides moderngroove with the rights to use the Ministry of Sound brand, along with exclusive rights to new music sets mixed by some of the world's leading DJs, for their forthcoming PlayStation A video game console from Sony that was introduced in the U.S. in 1995. CD-ROM based and using a 32-bit MIPS CPU, the original PlayStation was the first of a family of desktop and handheld units. (R) 2 release. The partnership with moderngroove provides a vehicle for Ministry of Sound to venture into the interactive entertainment industry.

The title will feature five leading DJs, each contributing one-hour music sets that consist of current charting tracks and exclusive new tracks, as well as underground recordings and classic club hits. The featured DJs will be announced next week during the MIDEM music conference in Cannes, France.
