mental images Appoints Randy Ochs VP of Business Development & Sales for North America.


SAN FRANCISCO & BERLIN -- mental images[R], a global leader in rendering software and visualization tools for animators, visual effects artists and professionals who create high quality imagery, today announced they have appointed Randy Ochs as Vice President of Business Development and Sales for North America. He will also join the company's executive team.

Ochs brings nearly 25 years of experience in MCAD, visual product lifecycle, communications and collaboration software to mental images. He has held executive management positions at some of the foremost producers of 3D CAD, Digital Design Communications Solutions and PCM/PLM software suites at such companies as Right Hemisphere, Actify, Agile Software, PTC/InPart Design, Autodesk and IBM/CADAM. In this role, Ochs will be responsible for leading the company's North America Business Development, Sales and Solution Consulting team.

Ochs has extensive background across numerous industries including aerospace, automotive, industrial automation, high tech, manufacturing, and consumer goods.

Prior to joining mental images, Ochs served as the Vice President of Strategic Alliances and Worldwide Channels for Right Hemisphere, a leading provider of enterprise visual product communication and collaboration solutions, where he developed strategic relationships with Adobe's Field Sales Teams, Microsoft and worked with channel partners such as RAND, CENIT NA and PROSTEP.

Ochs holds a Computer Science degree from Hancock College.
