inVzn releases TotalVzn modular information management system.

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 4, 1996--A solution for members of the legal community with document management needs, San Diego-based inVzn Development Corp. has introduced TotalVzn, a modular information management system.

This comprehensive software application allows users to add new software solutions to a core package as technology and user needs change over time. In addition, TotalVzn works with existing software packages in the law office.

"Technology changes so rapidly that many people are hesitant about making an investment in software applications out of fear that they will be outdated within months," said Thomas W. Morgan, chief executive officer of inVzn Development.

"TotalVzn was designed so that a wide range of new features such as full-text search A search that compares every word in a document, as opposed to searching an abstract or a set of keywords associated with the document. Word processors and text editors contain full-text search functions that let you find a word or phrase anywhere in the document.  engines, deposition management tools, low-volume scanning functions and even trial presentation solutions can be easily configured into the core information management system."

TotalVzn combines document image viewing with interactive document review and coding-to-database capability. It is available in 16-bit and 32-bit versions for Windows 3.1x

"TotalVzn provides an efficient paperless office solution for management of documents, case files and administrative information -- all the way from discovery through trial," said Morgan.

The system's open architecture means that a lawyer's present database and full-text search applications can already link directly with TotalVzn. The modular design allows users to seamlessly add integrated applications that meet specific requirements as their needs grow or change.
