id-Confirm's Mobile Biometric Device Featured on Clear Channel's KOA Radio as True Identity Solution on the Heels of Recent Illegal Immigrant ID Theft Raids.

DENVER -- id-Confirm, Inc. (OTCBB:IDCO) announced today that Mr. Robert Morrison, Founder and CTO, and Mr. Robert Speth, Vice President of Business Development, will be featured guests on Mike Rosen's show on Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Mike Rosen hosts Denver's most popular local radio talk show on Clear Channel's megawatt KOA radio station in Colorado. Mr. Morrison and Mr. Speth were invited to discuss the recent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids at U.S. meatpacking meatpacking or meat-processing, wholesale business of buying and slaughtering animals and then processing and distributing their carcasses to retailers. The livestock industry is among the largest in the world. In the United States, the plains of the Midwest and Southwest provided good conditions for inexpensively breeding livestock, which was then transported to centrally located packing centers, such as Chicago and Cincinnati, and marketed plants in six states for illegal immigrant ID theft and id-Confirm's innovative biometric solution as an alternative to the long-debated National ID Card movement.

On December 12, Federal Agents raided meat-processing plants in six states, arresting an unspecified number of suspected illegal immigrants. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents had uncovered an illegal scheme where illegal immigrants and others had stolen or bought the identities and Social Security numbers of possibly hundreds of U.S. citizens and lawful residents to get jobs at the meatpacking plants.

Identity theft for illegal activity has been on the rise for years, prompting a movement to protect U.S. citizens through the deployment of a National ID Card. Opponents to the National ID Card have thwarted the movement due to privacy issues and potential theft of personal information embedded on the card or network databases. id-Confirm's biometric device is a viable alternative, as personal information is not stored locally on the user's device, while still providing a true identity confirmation solution.

id-Confirm's mobile, wireless biometric authentication See biometrics. provides the highest possible level of security through four-factor biometric authentication technology that is 100 percent biometrically secure, cost-effective, ready to deploy and designed with the protection of individual privacy rights in mind. This new technology offers consumers a truly mobile, wireless solution to preventing personal identity theft and fraud.

The id-Confirm id(4u[TM]) personal authentication device, which is half the size of a small cell phone, is issued to the end user. The end user "enrolls" a fingerprint on the device. A mathematical representation of the fingerprint, as opposed to the fingerprint itself, is stored on the device to protect individual privacy rights. A unique encrypted algorithm is also stored on the id(4u[TM] )device and is synchronized with the id-Confirm Authentication Server A device used in network access control. It stores the usernames and passwords that identify the clients logging on, or it may hold the algorithms for token access (see authentication token). For access to specific network resources, the server may itself store user permissions and company policies or provide access to directories that contain the information.

RADIUS is the most widely used protocol for authentication servers.
at the time of enrollment. The id-Confirm Authentication Server typically stores both the algorithm and minimal user information such as the end user's last name and password.

Once the end user is enrolled, they will be asked to generate a one-time password (OTP) whenever access or identity verification is required. The end user is authenticated by scanning the enrolled finger over the id(4u[TM]) device, which triggers the generation of an eight-digit alphanumeric OTP. The OTP is verified against the back-end authentication server and the transaction is either approved or denied. The entire process requires three to five seconds to complete and offers a more robust, secure solution than alternative authentication options.
