iStor Networks, Inc(R) Announces UK Distribution Agreement with aXstor UK in Launching 10GbE iSCSI Solutions at Storage Expo in London.

IRVINE, Calif. -- iStor Networks, a leading technology provider for iSCSI networked storage, is pleased to announce their partnership with aXstor, a UK based master Distributor of integrated storage solutions at the 2006 Storage Expo in London with their flagship product A primary product of a company, which is typically why the company was founded and/or what made it well known. For example, MS-DOS, Windows and the Microsoft Office suite have been flagship products of Microsoft. CorelDRAW is a flagship product of Corel Corporation. , GigaStorATX.[TM]

"We specialize in 'Best of Class' products thus partnering with iStor because the feature set and performance of the product is cutting edge within the storage industry. We have found that customers now consider iSCSI a viable alternative to FC and it is emerging rapidly within companies of all sizes. We feel that iStor Networks will enable OEMs and VARs to aid small and medium-sized businesses with its high performance, cost effective iSCSI storage solutions," said Alan Shepherd, Managing Director of aXstor.

"Resellers will further benefit from iStor's all-in-one GigaStorATX solution that replaces iSCSI implementations provided by competitors which generally use two or more iSCSI/TOE/Network chips, two Intel Xeon processors, a 3-chip processor chipset, and two SATA (Serial ATA) A serial version of the ATA (IDE) interface, which has been the de facto standard hard disk interface for desktop PCs for more than two decades. The original Parallel ATA (PATA) interface was launched in 1986.  RAID controllers A disk controller card that supports one or more RAID configurations. The aXstor Ai product highlights at the show include:
1. The iStor inAbled aXstor Ai iSCSI-SATA Storage Subsystem replaces
parallel SCSI in DAS and NAS environments and supplements or
    replaces FC in SAN environments.
2. aXstor's implementation of GigaStorATX provides a Highly
Integrated 1GbE and 10GbE iSCSI Storage Subsystem, eliminating the
need for Server or Mother-Board technology. The GigaStorATX iSCSI
Controller provides a full storage-virtualization firmware stack
    and SMI-S compliant management suite.
3. The iStor inAbled aXstor Ai iSCSI Storage Subsystem enables
storage system suppliers the opportunity to create block-based,
cost-effective, high performance RAID storage solutions. With
iSCSI SAN implementations based on GigaStorATX technology, NAS
providers may scale up computing power, storage performance and
    capacity on demand separately.
4. GigaStorATX provides best in class performance; 1,160MB/sec cache
    read performance.
