iSold It, the nation's leading eBay selling service, opened its second franchise store in Los Angeles today. Offering consumers an easy and effortless way to sell their items on eBay, iSold It turns online retail inside-out -- by offering a "bricks and mortar A store (shop, supermarket, department store, etc.) in the real world. Contrast with clicks and mortar. " storefront where customers can drop off merchandise that they would like to sell on the Internet. The store is located at 7160 Beverly Blvd.

The process begins when customers bring items they want to sell to iSold It. Trained team members work with each customer to collect information important in an item's listing. Before posting on eBay, items are professionally photographed and descriptions, highlighting important details, are written. iSold It then goes to work posting the auction on eBay, tracking the item during the selling period, processing payment and packing and shipping the item. After their item sells, a check is mailed to the customer.

There is no fee to list merchandise with iSold It. Rather, the company charges a progressive commission based on an item's final sale price. If an item doesn't sell, the customer can choose to pick it up or donate it to charity.

"Buying on eBay is easy, but selling on eBay takes effort," says Elise Wetzel, Founder of iSold It. "The process can be time consuming and intimidating in·tim·i·date

for people who are not familiar with the mechanics of posting items for sale online. I started iSold It so that everyone --from individuals, to businesses to fundraising organizations -- could have an easy way to sell merchandise online."

"We opened our second iSold It because of the overwhelming response we received in our Westwood store" says Amy Weintraub, iSold It Franchisee. "Los Angeles is big market with a very diverse population. That translates into wide array of merchandise just waiting to be sold on eBay."

"In Westwood, we have sold everything from cowboy boots to cars," continued Weintraub. Almost anything and everything can sell online. Popular items include electronics (cameras, computers, PDAs, DVD players A stand-alone device that plays DVDs. It contains a DVD drive and the electronics to decode the digital video. iSold its retail format is unique, in that its store doesn't sell anything to its customers, but rather collects things that customers would like to sell to others. In addition, the store carries no cash and does not conduct any cash or revenue transactions on site, as all payments from winning bidders are collected electronically.
