iRobot Reports Record Third Quarter 2006 Results.BURLINGTON, Mass. -- iRobot Corp. Revenues for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2006 increased to $127.8 million, compared with $95.5 million for the same period a year ago. * Gross profit for the third quarter grew to $23.0 million (41.8 percent of sales), compared with $20.7 million (39.5 percent of sales) in the third quarter of 2005. * Net income in the third quarter of 2006 was $10.0 million compared with net income in the third quarter of 2005 of $9.8 million. Net income for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2006 increased to $5.3 million, compared with $2.6 million for the same period a year ago. * iRobot expanded its line of home robots.
