To ease support issues while ensuring constant data protection and delivery, all key internal components are hot-swappable and redundant. The storage platform features dual active-active storage controllers with transparent fail-over, 4 x 4Gb/s FC host ports, and RAID 0, 1, 1+0, 3, 5, 50 and 6. Further, as storage management requirements evolve, users have the option of enabling the iQ2280's enhanced data services via an embedded wizard-based configuration and management GUI (Graphical User Interface) A graphics-based user interface that incorporates movable windows, icons and a mouse. The ability to resize application windows and change style and size of fonts are the significant advantages of a GUI vs. a character-based interface.  that gives instant access to the optional embedded data services including storage virtualization, snapshot, mirroring, remote replication, storage provisioning and automated capacity growth.
