flexSCAN Inc. Takes Lead in Preventive Screening for Cancer; CEOs Agree to Offer Employees Cancer Screening as Corporate Benefit.

In response to employee requests, flexSCAN Inc. launched flexPLUS the first and only corporate cafeteria 125 benefit specifically for full body and colonoscopy CT screening. This technology can detect cancer and coronary artery disease coronary artery disease, condition that results when the coronary arteries are narrowed or occluded, most commonly by atherosclerotic deposits of fibrous and fatty tissue.  in its earliest and most treatable stages. flexPLUS is coupled with a secure and fully HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act of 1996, Public Law 104-191) Also known as the "Kennedy-Kassebaum Act," this U.S. law protects employees' health insurance coverage when they change or lose their jobs (Title I) and provides standards for patient health,  compliant Electronic Medical Records system for each employee's personal use.

According to Reuters News Service, the CEOs of several dozen of America's major corporations have agreed to include comprehensive cancer screening as part of their corporate benefits plans beginning next year. Included are GlaxoSmithKline, Wal-Mart, General Motors, Bristol-Myers Squibb, State Farm Insurance and 29 member companies of the National Dialogue on Cancer's CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Roundtable. It was reported that upwards of 25 million employees and dependents will be covered under this plan.
