etrials Receives Record Commitments from CRO Strategic Partners, Adding Ten New Contracts in the Fourth Quarter.

Leading CROs Choose etrials' Technology Transfer Program to Standardize Future Trials

MORRISVILLE, N.C. -- etrials[R] Worldwide, Inc. (Nasdaq:ETWC ETWC Educating the Whole Child )(Nasdaq:ETWCW)(Nasdaq:ETWCU), a leading provider of eClinical software and services that optimize clinical-trial management and accelerate time-to-market, announced that it entered into ten new contracts with four separate contract research organization (CRO) clients in the fourth quarter of 2006. Of the ten contracts, seven are with pharmaceutical and biotech sponsor companies that etrials has not worked with previously. This is more than double the previous year's fourth quarter CRO wins.

Two CRO clients have initiated contracts to engage in a full Technology Transfer Program with etrials solutions. A technology transfer allows full implementation of etrials software onsite at the CRO, where full design and management of the trials are conducted. The Technology Transfer Program is one of the optional services available with etrials' CRO Partnership Program that allows CROs to take advantage of the efficiencies of all of etrials' solutions. Other benefits of the CRO Partnership Program include cost reductions, complete scalability, specification and design control, efficiencies through standardization and integrated reporting and analytics.

"Throughout 2006, our dedicated team has made the CRO Partnership Program a focus and this will remain an important element of our strategy going forward," said John Cline cline, in biology, any gradual change in a particular characteristic of a population of organisms from one end of the geographical range of the population to the other. , Chief Executive Officer at etrials.
