 BB:EDUV), today announced that it has signed an agreement with I.Star Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Star Publications (Malaysia) Bhd. ("The Star"), Malaysia's largest English language English language, member of the West Germanic group of the Germanic subfamily of the Indo-European family of languages (see Germanic languages). Spoken by about 470 million people throughout the world, English is the official language of about 45 nations.  newspaper.

Under the terms of the agreement with I.Star Sdn. Bhd., The Star newspaper will promote eduverse.com's ENGLISH PRO Web Edition software to their daily readership of over one million people. ENGLISH PRO Web Edition will also be made available on The Star's web site (thestar.com.my), one of the most visited Web portals in the country.

The Star has always been active in promoting education in Malaysia Education in Malaysia may be obtained from government-sponsored schools, private schools, or through homeschooling. The education system is highly centralised, particularly for primary and secondary schools, with state and local governments having little say in the curriculum or  with community activities that include workshops for teachers and various special events. Star-NIE, the non-profit Newspaper in Education program of The Star (www2.thestar.com.my/education/nie), was officially launched by Minister of Education Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Dato' Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak (born July 23, 1953, in Kuala Lipis, Pahang) is a Malaysian politician and has been the country's Deputy Prime Minister since January 7, 2004.  on September 16, 1997. Star-NIE's vision is: "To bring The Star into the classroom in support of the national goals of improving English proficiency."
