eVcast, Inc., a developer of live, interactive Webcasting appliance systems and services, today announced the availability of the company's innovative new product line called Spectacle. The product line consists of:

-- Spectacle(TM) Studio -- a digital production studio for content creation

-- Spectacle Mobile Studio -- a portable version of the production studio

-- Spectacle Show Master -- a master control unit allowing the presenters to
connect and switch between multiple studios during a single Webcast
presentation

-- Spectacle Webcast server -- a Webcast distribution and management center for
scheduling and managing the distribution of Webcasts

With its simple plug-n-play appliance approach, intuitive graphical user interfaces, and Webcast Wizards for setup, Spectacle offers corporations a product-based solution for company-wide communication and training. Spectacle reaches a growing audience enhances the communications between corporations and their customers, partners and employees. Corporate sales and marketing departments will reduce costs and improve productivity by conducting sales team meetings and marketing communications presentations online. Corporate communications can deliver groundbreaking news to the press and shareholders at their desktops. Using Internet browsers, audience members view a live streaming audio-video presentation along with PowerPoint(R) slides or HTML web pages that are synchronized with the presentation. Additionally, Spectacle's text chat and survey components allow audience members to interact with the presenters during the event, providing a richer learning experience for the audience and qualitative feedback to the presenters.

Spectacle adds four major new contributions to the burgeoning new, live Webcasting marketplace:

-- First, the Spectacle Show Master enables producers to create

multi-studio/multi-site Webcast presentations. The unit acts

as "master control room" collecting the incoming media streams

from up to four Spectacle Studios or Mobile Studios and

outputting a single stream to the audience. Through an HTML

user interface, the Show Master allows the operator to switch

between the various incoming Studio streams, selecting the

final outgoing stream that the audience will view. For

example, a corporate quarterly meeting might be produced from

multiple company locations, beginning with a ten-minute

presentation by the company's CEO in Chicago. The operator

would then select the Marketing department studio in Los

Angeles for the next twenty minutes, and finally the Public

Relations department and/or PR firm in New York.

-- Second, Spectacle provides a complete solution for the

production and distribution of Webcasts. With the

plug-and-play Studio and Webcast Server components, Spectacle

enables the user to easily create a live, interactive

multimedia presentation. The presentation is sent via a media

stream over the Internet to audience desktops

-- Third, Spectacle provides multimedia solutions developed

specifically for corporate sales, marketing, communications

and training needs. The Spectacle Studio organizes

presentation slides, Web pages and offers live, interactive

chat between the presenter and each viewer or between the

viewers themselves.

-- Fourth, the Spectacle product is a database driven system

management solution, providing complete control and scheduling

of all system resources and tasks and collecting audience

participation data for Webcast analysis.

Spectacle Webcasting Service

To increase the utility of its product line, eVcast is offering its Spectacle Webcasting Service that provides customers an easy way to increase audience sizes for selected presentations and events. This service takes a feed from the customer's Spectacle Webcast Server and replicates it through eVcast's server array. The result enables the customer to economically scale up to larger audiences. Customers will be able to access the service through a simple website interface with credit card or account-based billing.
