eSAFETYWORLD Announces Agreement With APEX Interactive.

SETAUKET, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 2000

eSAFETYWORLD, Inc. (Nasdaq:SFTY), a business-to-business e-commerce company specializing in serving the industrial safety market, announced today that APEX Interactive will host its e-commerce site and provide Internet marketing and technical services.

The newly upgraded site located at www.esafetyworld.com will debut on April 20, 2000 and will have more than 16,000 SKUs to provide customers with one-stop shopping for all of their industrial and cleanroom product needs. The site will also feature real-time customer service capabilities and will permit customers to open credit accounts while they wait.

James Brownfiel, eSAFETYWORLD's Chief Operating Officer, said: "We are very excited about this relationship.
