eMeta Corporation selected as Preferred Technology Vendor for Global Information Commerce Initiatives for The McGraw-Hill Companies.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 17, 2002

eMeta Corporation today announced that The McGraw-Hill Companies has signed eMeta's digital rights commerce technology, eRights, as its preferred information commerce platform. Under the terms of the agreement, eMeta will provide authentication (1) Verifying the integrity of a transmitted message. See message integrity, e-mail authentication and MAC.

(2) Verifying the identity of a user logging into a network.
