eMerge Interactive, Inc., Sebastian, Fla., a technology company providing supply chain management and marketing solutions for the beef production industry, will discontinue its online storefront A store on the Internet that offers items for sale and is capable of handling the financial transaction online. See cybermall and digital money., which began operations this past November. It now plans to realign its organization to reflect its new operating objectives and size. "By eliminating the store-front, we can increase our focus and resources on further developing the online cattle auction and brokering business, which continues to generate exciting industry acceptance, growth and momentum," says CEO Charles Abraham.
