eMagin Appoints Sainsbury to Lead Government Programs.

HOPEWELL JUNCTION, N.Y. & REDMOND, Wash. -- eMagin Corporation (AMEX: EMA) has named Rob Sainsbury as Vice President, Government Programs. Mr. Sainsbury will direct eMagin's government program efforts to advance OLED-on-silicon technology, and will help accelerate eMagin's growing position within the military, first responder, and homeland security sectors.

Before joining eMagin Corporation, Mr. Sainsbury was General Manager of Government Programs for Microvision, Inc., where he was responsible for business development, program and project management, and contracts within the government sector. Earlier, with Veridian's Equient Division, he was responsible for the division's largest customer relationship. He has also held leadership roles at the General Electric Company, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon.

Mr. Sainsbury began his career as a US Navy Submarine officer, serving on USS Trepang as the Combat Systems Department Head and as a tactics and special operations platform instructor at the Naval Submarine School. He holds an MS in the Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania (a combined engineering and Wharton management degree) and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
