eB Networks to Supply Security and HIPAA (Health Insurance

Portability & Accountability Act) Compliance Solutions to New York 

City Health and Hospitals Corporation (NYCHHC)

Computer Horizons Corp. (Nasdaq: CHRZ) announced today that its wholly -owned subsidiary, eB Networks, a leading network infrastructure solutions company is pleased to announce that it has been chosen as the NYCHHC security services provider, in a contract award for their HIPAA compliance initiative.

The contract award is for the next three years, with the possible addition of a fourth contract year.

HIPAA, which was signed into law by Congress in 1996, requires all healthcare and insurance organizations that handle patient information to implement standards, policies, procedures, and technical solutions, which insure the confidentiality and privacy of that information. The Transaction and Code Sets Regulations were issued on August 17, 2000 and will be effective October 16, 2002. The Privacy Regulations were published in the Federal Register on December 28, 2000 and will be effective on February 26, 2003.

eB Networks is providing a variety of solutions and services that will enable NYCHHC to address its information security needs, while also insuring HIPAA compliance.

eB Network's services include network security assessment, security system design and implementation, including encryption and electronic signature, policy creation, administrative simplification, and privacy regulation compliance review. The initial contract spans three years, with an option for a fourth contract year. These solutions will enable NYCHHC to enhance their overall IT security profile, as well as comply with mandatory HIPAA laws and regulations.
