eAnytime(TM) Announces its Next-Generation Medication Dispensing System, Featuring Patient-Empowered Information and Medication Dispensing Stations - The Future of Medication Dispensing.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- eAnytime Kiosks Incorporated, a leading signature and made-to-order, ADA compliant, computerized self-service station provider for a variety of applications, introduced its next-generation Medication Dispensing System (MDS), designed to be DEA compliant, at the AATOD National Conference. The MDS was developed in cooperation with the McLeod Addictive Disease Centers and Ivek Corporation for dispensing liquid as well as solid medications.

The eAnytime(TM) MDS is a cost effective state-of-the-art copyrighted Microsoft Windows based Medication Dispensing System, embracing Microsoft .NET technology. It is written in C# and C++, operating under Windows XP Professional in a standalone or client/server environment, using a centralized SQL database with interactive real time access via LAN and WAN.

The eAnytime(TM) MDS features patent pending, patient-activated computerized on-wall or counter information stations, which provide bilingual direction to patients, assuring timely service. The system incorporates computerized counter liquid medication dispensing stations which accurately and efficiently dispense by density and volume the quantity of one or two medications prescribed for a specific patient. The stations are patient-empowered and are also used by medical staff for dispensing take-home medication, which is dispensed full strength or blended in exact ratio with recommended additives.

The eAnytime(TM) MDS uses assigned key ring barcode tags for identification of registrars, patients, medical staff, counselors, cashiers and administrators. Biometrics finger scanning is used for verification of registrars, patients, medical staff or passwords for counselors, cashiers and administrators.

The eAnytime(TM) MDS supports customized and automatic service and medication scheduling. It tracks center staff authorizations and activities, medication dispensing, inventory and use of medication. Center personnel can access and add notes to patient records and view on-demand predefined reports online that can be printed through individual sessions restricted to management and staff within respective groups, based on classification. The system functions as an information gathering vehicle with the ability to automatically transfer relevant information to computerized patient care systems with provided interface.
