bCandid Names John Gray Vice President of Sales; Former Lotus Executive To Spearhead Entry Into New Markets.


BOULDER, Colo.,--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 4, 1999--

bCandid, the leading developer of Internet discussion group software, has appointed John Gray Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Gray, who reports to CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Frank Bergen, will oversee worldwide sales of bCandid's discussion group software, including Cyclone NewsRouter, Typhoon typhoon: see hurricane.  NewsServer and Breeze NewsServer.

Prior to joining bCandid, Mr. Gray was Director of Sales for Lotus Development Corporation (company) Lotus Development Corporation - A software company who produced Lotus 1-2-3, the Symphony spreadsheet and Lotus Notes for the IBM PC.
