ar+d 2004.


The ar+d awards for emerging architecture are intended to bring wider international recognition to a talented new generation of architects and designers under 45. Entries for this year's awards are now being called for.

Inaugurated in 1999, the ar+d emerging architecture award was conceived by the AR and d line, and is now supported by Buro Happold Happold is a surname, and may refer to:
  • Buro Happold, British engineering consultancy firm
  • Edmund Happold (1930-1996), British structural engineer
  • Tom Happold (contemporary), journalist at Guardian Unlimited

, the international multi-disciplinary consulting engineers and Grohe water technology. It is the best award for young architects in the world and has [pounds sterling]10 000 prize money.

The Jury for 2004 will be: Mario Mario (mär`yō), 1810–83, stage name of Giovanni Matteo, Cavaliere di Candia, Italian tenor. An officer of the Piedmontese guard, he went to Paris in 1836 and studied at the Paris Conservatory, making his debut (1838) at the Paris Opera  Cucinella, MCA MCA

Articles cover the built environment which includes landscape, building design, interior design and urbanism as well as theory of these subjects. .
