airwide solutions Expands Its Leadership Team.


LONDON -- airwide solutions, a global leader in providing secure messaging and device management solutions, today announced that it has appointed John M. Weaver as chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.
 (COO).

Weaver will have responsibility for the Engineering, Customer Delivery and Support, Quality and IT organizations worldwide. In addition he will lead corporate strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people.  and operational performance across the company.

Weaver brings more than 25 years of experience in the telecom and computer industries leading business creation, business growth, and operational excellence.

Weaver joins the company from Comverse Network Systems where he was most recently executive VP and general manager. He started as an executive with Boston Technology, grew with the company from under $90M to over $300M and led the U.S. side of the successful merger with Comverse Network systems. His prior experience includes a number of roles with Digital Equipment Corp.
