ZURICH FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP has promoted CLAUDIA DILL to the position of chief executive officer for the North America Shared Services Platform. She had been chief operating officer for Zurich's Europe General Insurance.

In her new position, effective Sept. 1, Dill will work to continue improving Zurich's North America shared services platform. She will be located in NewYork City.

Dill succeeds KEITHA SCHOFIELD, who will become the chief integration officer for Zurich's recent acquisition of AIG's personal lines automobile business in the United States.

Dill joined Zurich in 1999 and held various group positions such as CFO of group reinsurance before becoming CFO Europe in 2003. In 2007 she was appointed to her current role as COO for Europe General Insurance.
