OKLAHOMA CITY Oklahoma City (1990 pop. 444,719), state capital, and seat of Oklahoma co., central Okla., on the North Canadian River; inc. 1890. The state's largest city, it is an important livestock market, a wholesale, distribution, industrial, and financial center, and a farm , Okla. -- Zoto, an online photo management site for bloggers, today revealed three powerful new tools to help users catalog catalog, descriptive list, on cards or in a book, of the contents of a library. Assurbanipal's library at Nineveh was cataloged on shelves of slate. The first known subject catalog was compiled by Callimachus at the Alexandrian Library in the 3d cent. B.C. , share and publish their images. Zoto's geotagging system allows anyone with a GPS-enabled camera phone to automatically plot their photos onto graphic and satellite maps. Smart Tags (1) A browser plug-in that recognizes words and phrases on Web pages and automatically turns them into links to advertisers or dictionary/encyclopedia definitions. Although users like smart tags, Web site publishers dislike them, because they make it easy for the user to jump off , the site's new proprietary image management system, uses contextual data to help users organize and quickly locate photos. In addition, exclusive new publishing capabilities provide users with the convenience of adding text and images to their blogs directly from Zoto.

"We're pleased to announce these unique tools, which meet the complicated organizational and publishing needs of advanced users such as photobloggers, as well as making online photo management easier for everyday enthusiasts," said Kord Campbell, founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. SMART TAGS

Smart Tag, the site's new proprietary image organization system, adds context to tags for the first time. While tagging photos in general has gained popularity over the last few years, its relevancy has been limited. For example, a traditional image search for "Spot" may result in photos of family pets, clothing stains This article is about the French commune. For the town in Surrey, England, see Staines.  and locations.

With Zoto's SmartTag system, users tag images and quickly sort the tags into "who," "what," "where," and "when" dimensions. This results in a photo of Spot, the family dog, tagged with "Spot" under "What," "Dorthy's backyard," under "Where," and "Dorthy's birthday," under "When." If future photos are taken of the same GPS location, Zoto will be able to recognize it and automatically tag those as "Dorthy's backyard": if more photos were taken on the same date, Zoto will automatically tag those as "Dorthy's birthday" as well. Smart Tags are easily applied to large batches of uploads.
