The event provides a tropical vacation for the animals as well as for zoo visitors, who can watch as polar bears eat sno-cones, lorikeets receive fruit leis and cougars devour a luau feast. Zoo's Gone Wild will showcase the Oregon Zoo's animal enrichment programs that are designed to challenge animals with complex tasks that require problem solving problem solving Process involved in finding a solution to a problem. Many animals routinely solve problems of locomotion, food finding, and shelter through trial and error. . Animal enrichment activities and keeper talks are scheduled daily.
