Zone Labs Integrity(TM) 1.5, the newest release of the company's centrally-managed endpoint security management platform, can now enforce anti-virus protection on endpoint PCs, offering even more robust protection against both known and unknown threats. As a result, Integrity provides the best possible protection from custom-coded hacker attacks for desktop, remote and mobile users.

With Integrity 1.5, Zone Labs has expanded its unique Cooperative Enforcement(SM) technology and integration with the Cisco VPN 3000 Concentrator Series to make remote access to corporate networks even more secure. With the expanded Cooperative Enforcement capabilities of Integrity 1.5, the administrator has the option to require that endpoint PCs are protected by Integrity's trusted firewall and application control defenses as well as by an updated anti-virus product in order to connect to, and remain connected to, the corporate network. If not, Integrity 1.5 does not allow the network connection until the correct anti-virus product is installed or updated. Integrity 1.5 detects whether up-to-date McAfee, Symantec or Trend Micro anti-virus products are running, prior to permitting a network connection. This additional capability ensures that uniform corporate security standards are enforced as a prerequisite for connecting to the corporate network by any endpoint PC. Integrity 1.5 enables companies to manage both endpoint firewall and anti-virus policies from a single administration console.

Companies employing other VPN solutions benefit from knowing that their endpoint security policies are observed and enforced. In those cases, Integrity 1.5 will notify both a user and the company's IT department if the user is connecting to the network without an up-to-date anti-virus product so that out-of-compliance users can update their anti-virus software and/or virus definitions appropriately.

The Integrity server supports Windows(R) 2000 and Advanced 2000 systems while the Integrity client runs on Windows 98, 2000, Me, NT and XP machines.

In addition, Integrity 1.5 now supports Funk Software's Steel Belted Radius Server and RSA's ACE Radius Server with SecureID.
