Documenting the hilarious trials and tribulations of Scooby-Doo and his fellow cast of characters, the program is a 21st Century version of the classic cartoon characters as they employ new technology, along with their wits, to navigate through new mysteries and adventures during their travels. The first DVD/VHS volume of the series, "Space Ape at the Cape," was released to great success in August 2003.

"Safari, So Goodi!" will feature four episodes from "What's New Scooby-Doo?" In "It's Mean, It's Green, It's The Mystery Machine," the gang's famed Mystery Machine becomes a mystery itself when it suddenly seems to have a mind of its own. "Riva Ras Vegas" follows the gang's trip to Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  to a pop concert that quickly turns into a ghost hunt "Ghost Hunt" is also a ride at Lake Compounce.

In "Safari, So Goodi!," concerned about the region's diminishing animal population, Velma takes everyone to East Africa for a video safari.
