SAN FRANCISCO and SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 2, 2000

Zing, Inc. (www.zing.com) and PictureIQ(TM) Corporation (www.pictureiq.com) today announced that Zing has agreed to integrate PictureIQ technology within its photo community site. This will build upon Zing's services to provide an additional set of powerful image editing, enhancement, and creativity tools to allow consumers a convenient way to make their pictures the very best that they can be.

&uot;Zing is about making digital photography a rewarding and painless process, and PictureIQ's imaging software will allow our users to easily improve the look and quality of their pictures,&uot; said Mark Platshon, president and chief executive officer, Zing, Inc. &uot;Our mutual goal is to simplify basic image corrections so that consumers can spend their time being more creative with their pictures.&uot;

By early second quarter, the PictureIQ technology will be integrated into Zing.com to enable users to perform high-quality edits and enhancements to their photos, with additional creative and special effect capabilities to be rolled out over time. The capabilities can be used with any web browser, without the need for any additional software or downloaded plug-ins.
