300). The VisAble VideoTelescope(TM) provides an extensive range of enhancements for the visually impaired. It is the latest design win for Zight's CMD CMD cerebromacular degeneration. 8X6D-1 SVGA (Super VGA) A screen resolution of 800x600 pixels. Third-party vendors extended IBM's VGA display standard and were the first to use the term. SVGA has also referred to 1,024x768 resolutions. The award-winning Zight SVGA microdisplay is currently also being used in head-mounted displays being manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation and Olympus Optical Company, as well as other applications under development by several electronic product companies.

The VVT300(TM) offers high-resolution (800 x 600) image quality, full-color, minification, zoom levels up to 40x, significant sunlight gain control, and low power consumption allowing for eight hours of typical intermittent use. The VVT300(TM) provides those affected with age-related vision conditions such as macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and retinitis pigmentosa freedom they otherwise wouldn't have, facilitating their everyday lives.

"A visually impaired user is able to get full-scale, crisp, clear images from a device the size of their hand. The ability to separate image size from the size of the device is key. With about 17 million visually impaired-people in North America alone (source: Lighthouse International), the importance of technology such as the VVT300(TM) is immeasurable. It can be the magic wand that many visually impaired individuals need, giving them increased independence and a greater sense of security.
