Ziff-Davis Announces The Launch of 10 New, International Editions of ZDNet

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Building on ZDNet's dramatic growth in France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States, Ziff-Davis today announced the launch of 10 new, international editions of ZDNet on the World Wide Web. The announcement strengthens ZDNet's position as the world's leading Web site for news and information about the Internet and computing. It also establishes ZDNet as one of the first global Internet brands to make a commitment to provide localized content.
ZDNet China debuted today (http://www.zdnet.co.cn) Australia, Hong Kong, Italy, Korea, Malaysia/Singapore, Russia, Spain and Taiwan will be online with their local editions of ZDNet in March. ZDNet Japan will debut in April. Each edition will feature the 10,000-title ZDNet Software Library as well as local translations of ZDNet's award-winning news and buying information.
