Following newspaper reports that the Diocese of Hong Kong did not notify civil authorities of abuse allegations against three of its 300 priests, church officials in the former British colony in May confirmed the allegations, according to BBC BBC

The diocese also issued a statement declaring a no-tolerance policy for church personnel who have abused children. "The diocesan authorities," the statement said, "cannot and will not tolerate pedophile pedophile Forensic psychiatry A person with pedophilia; there are an estimated 500,000 pedophiles in the world.
