Zermatt Resort Garners Six Medals in Utah's 2008 Best of State Awards.


MIDWAY, Utah Midway is a city in Wasatch County, Utah, United States. The population was 2,121 at the 2000 census. Midway, like many cities in Utah, is proud of its nearly homogeneous original Swiss ancestry.  -- Zermatt Resort, awarded four Best of State medals in its 2007 debut, followed up with an impressive encore of six medals in the recently announced 2008 Best of State, Utah's premier recognition and awards program.

The 2008 winners will be honored at the Best of State Awards Gala Saturday, May 31st at the Salt Palace Grand Ballroom in Salt Lake City. Utah's Best of State awards annually recognize outstanding individuals, organizations and businesses throughout the state among a variety of categories, including Arts & Entertainment, Community Development, Hospitality/Travel/Tourism and Sports & Recreation.
