Zenographics Signs iDOC K.K. as Representative in Japan.


IRVINE, Calif. -- Zenographics Inc. announced today that it has engaged the services of Tokyo-based iDOC K.K. to represent Zenographics' raster-based printing products in Japan. Effective immediately, iDOC will focus on marketing Zenographics' Zx(TM) printing technology to printer, AIO See all-in-one.  and MFP (MultiFunction Printer, MultiFunction Peripheral) See all-in-one and MFD.  manufacturers throughout Japan.

"We chose iDOC to represent Zenographics because we were impressed with their extensive knowledge of the printing market in Japan," stated Bob Romney, president of Zenographics. "iDOC's technical understanding and familiarity with key OEMs will enable them to provide a superior level of service to our valued printer, AIO and MFP customers and prospects in Japan."

Zx is Zenographics' breakthrough compressed continuous tone client-side rendering and embedded rasterization technology that enables output devices to print with engine-speed performance for virtually all office documents. Zx is a software/firmware solution that renders high-resolution continuous tone data at hundreds of pages per minute, emitting a highly compressed print stream which is processed by a tiny embedded Zx interpreter in a simple, low-cost controller.
