Zar Realty refinancies Two Broadway.


In a transaction that shores up the real estate assets of one of New York's major entrepreneurial owners, ZAR ZAR

The closing of the 30-year fixed-rate private placement enabled ZAR Realty to resume its focus on enhancing its remaining properties in both Downtown and Midtown Manhattan.

Carlton Advisory Services, Inc. acted as exclusive finance advisor for ZAR Realty in this transaction. Carlton placed the financing through Capital Lease Funding and CTL See control key.

"In closing this refinancing, we have closed the chapter on all outstanding debt related to 2 Broadway," said Stein. "We are now in the process of creating terrific success stories throughout our portfolio to match our home run at 2 Broadway."

According to Stein, ZAR Realty will now focus its energies on 90 Washington Street, a 384,000 square-foot office building. Anchor tenant Bank of New York The Bank of New York, abbrieviated to BNY, was a global financial services company that existed until its merger with the Mellon Financial Corporation on July 2, 2007.[1] The bank now continues under the new name of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation.  is in the final stages of relocating to 100 Church Street, another ZAR Realty asset. In addition, ZAR Realty is zeroing in on completing the residential conversion of 110 Church Street, 120 Church Street and 53 Park Place in Downtown Manhattan.
