The BCA service cites the "electrifying" rise in Chinese stocks and notes that history has demonstrated that mania forces develop in waves. Spirent Communications (NYSE:SPM) made a strong push for the lead in its core mobility test equipment market with a new product and a new partner. SPM introduced the first carrier-scale CDMA2000 performance benchmarking tool, co-developed with Scientific Software Engineering, provider of software telecommunications products for more than 20 years. The new CDMA2000 Performance Test System builds upon existing test tools for GPRS, WCDMA and WLAN. The new partnership will yield several future wireless core infrastructure test applications. Taro's (NASDAQ:TARO) U.S. affiliate had expanded its distribution capacity by buying a distribution center in South Brunswick (NJ) for $18 million, for which it will receive financial incentives from the State. It also has research, production, and distribution activities in Israel, Canada, and Ireland. Teva (NASDAQ:TEVA) was rated "outperform" by William Blair and Lewis' Tel Aviv gossips say that it will exceed its own estimates this quarter. It won FDA okay for 2 new generic oral contraceptives from its deal with Andrx. These have sales of $713 million and $137 million/year respectively.
