Meanwhile, in our portfolios we have been held back by chemicals of a different kind, namely oil. Our oil service positions have slipped but seem to have found support around the current level, so we're going to give them a little more time. This would tend to cause lower oil prices, and energy related equity prices appear to be discounting the news. OPEC president and Indonesian oil minister Purnomo Yusgiantoro told reporters that OPEC wanted "to assure the world market that we are going to supply the market."
