He believes this valuation underscores Sonic Solution's financial performance and strong outlook for fiscal 2005. He believes within the next 12-months Sonic Solutions should trade at a multiple of 35-times fiscal 2005 EPS of $0.75. This translates into a share price target of $26. IMPAX Labs Announces Q1 2004 Earnings IMPAX Laboratories (NASDAQ:IPXL) announced first quarter 2004 financial results on Wednesday (5/5). For the first three months of 2004 ending March 31st, IMPAX experienced revenues of $38.85 million, up 240% from the $11.42 million in revenues in Q1 2003 and up 130% over Q4 2003 revenues of $16.83 million. Net income for Q1 2004 came in at $9.05 million, or $0.14 per diluted di·lute tr.v. di·lut·ed, di·lut·ing, di·lutes 1. To make thinner or less concentrated by adding a liquid such as water. 2. Wyatt attributes this broad success to the company's effective growth strategy, spearheaded by a winning research and development team and IMPAX's aggressive FDA FDA abbr. Bankrate Beats Estimates Bankrate (NASDAQ:RATE) on Tuesday (5/4) reported revenue growth of 20% in the first quarter to a record $10.3 million. During the period net income grew 17% to $2.4 million or $0.15 per share. Cash grew to $21.6 million, an increase of $9 million over Q1 2003, which translates to $1.35 per share. In Wyatt's opinion this quarter marks continued solid growth for Bankrate. Since initiating coverage of the company almost two years ago, the firm has clearly matured, and as a result, both top and bottom line growth have slowed. The market continues to value Bankrate on the basis of interest rate movements and mortgage rates despite the diverse offerings available to consumers at the company's web site. The drop of mortgage related traffic as reported in the Q1 press release further indicates that Bankrate is successfully shifting traffic from its mortgage related tools and offerings toward other financial instruments of interest to consumers. Greg Manning Auctions Announces Q3 2004 Record Earnings Greg Manning Auctions (NASDAQ:GMAI) recently reported fiscal third quarter 2004 earnings, setting another record for the company's performance and exceeding their own guidance. Aggregate sales in Q3 2004 came in at $80.9 million, up 158% over Q3 2003 sales of $31.3 million. Revenues were up 143% to $64.5 million and net income for the quarter increased from $2.1 million in Q3 2003 to $6.5 million in Q3 2004, a 215% rise! Earnings per share were $0.23 per diluted share, compared to $0.16 per diluted share in Q3 2003, a 44% rise in year over year quarterly EPS.
