Over the past 60 days, the consensus estimate has been falling towards the low end of JNY's guidance. Just within the past week, two analysts cut their forecasts, bringing the consensus estimate down to $2.41 per share. Here is a synopsis of why MRX and OVEN have a Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) and should also most likely be sold or avoided for the next one to three months. Note that a #4 Sell rating is applied to 15% of all the stocks ranked by Zacks:

Medicis (NYSE:MRX) recently exceeded fiscal fourth quarter expectations, but that didn't stop two analysts from cutting their forecasts for fiscal 2006. MRX said fiscal fourth quarter profits totaled 43 cents per share versus the consensus estimate of 41 cents. Following the report, however, two of the five covering analysts lowered their expectations for fiscal 2006, causing the consensus estimate to fall by 10 cents to $1.48 per share.

TurboChef, Inc. (NASDAQ:OVEN) reported a second quarter loss that was 2x wider than expected. The company said its second quarter loss totaled 21 cents. The results left analysts pessimistic about OVEN's full year outlook. The current consensus estimate for a 2005 loss of 18 cents per share is 26 cents below the forecast of 60 days ago.
