CHICAGO -- Zacks.com releases details on a group of stocks that are part of their exclusive list of Stocks to Sell Now. These stocks are currently rated as a Zacks Rank #5 (Strong Sell). Since inception in 1988 the S&P 500 has outperformed the Zacks #5 Ranked Strong Sells by 141.8% annually (11.97% vs. 4.5% respectively). While the rest of Wall Street continued to tout stocks during the market declines of the last few years, we were telling our customers which stocks to sell or avoid. Among the #5 ranked stocks today we highlight the following companies: Integrated Circuit integrated circuit (IC), electronic circuit built on a semiconductor substrate, usually one of single-crystal silicon. The circuit, often called a chip, is packaged in a hermetically sealed case or a nonhermetic plastic capsule, with leads extending from it for  Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ NASDAQ

Here is a synopsis of why these stocks have a Zacks Rank of 5 (Strong Sell) and should most likely be sold or avoided for the next 1 to 3 months. Note that a #5/Strong Sell rating is applied to 5% of all the stocks we rank:

Integrated Circuit Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:ICST) is a worldwide leader in the design, development and marketing of silicon timing devices for a number of high-growth application segments. On September 16, after market close, Integrated Circuit Systems (ICS (1) (Internet Connection Sharing) A Windows feature that enables two or more computers to share one Internet connection. Analysts are following the company's guidance and estimates for both 2004 and 2005 are down over the last 60 days, -16 cents or -13.6% for 2004 and -23 cents or -17.6% for 2005. The company continues to expand its product mix and its current offering is being used in new applications that should aid in turning the revenue picture around, but for now, you may want to avoid a connection between ICST and your portfolio.

, software design tools, predefined system functions delivered as cores of logic and field engineering support. Xilinx recently announced its sales would fall 5-7% vs. previous guidance of 2-4%. Further, the company expects its inventory levels to jump to 155 days from previously expected levels of 135-140 days. The company also cut its gross margin guidance by 1%. Analysts followed the company's guidance and lowered estimates for 2004 and 2005. The company's biggest competitor, Altera (NASDAQ:ALTR) also cut its sales projections for the third quarter. With widespread inventory and demand issues in the industry, it may be best to wait for estimates to turn around before opening or deepening a position in the stock.

Below is a synopsis of why these two stocks have a Zacks Rank of 4 (Sell) and should also most likely be sold or avoided for the next 1 to 3 months. Note that a #4/Sell rating is applied to 15% of all the stocks we rank:

However, analysts do have some concerns about the quality of the company's loans and long- term borrowings, which may put downward pressure on margins. The company's mid-quarter update did drive analysts to slightly lower their estimates in light of positive trends in charge-offs and a steepening yield curve compressing net interest margins. Fifth Third does have strong momentum in a number of areas, but investors may want to hold off until estimates start rising again.

Eyetech Pharmaceutical, Inc. (NASDAQ:EYET) is a biopharmaceutical company that specializes in the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics to treat diseases of the eye. Its lead product candidate is Macugen, which has the potential to treat several diseases of the eye, such as: wet age-related macular degeneration Age-related macular degeneration (ARMD)
