In addition, Zacks Equity Research provides analysis on Kongzhong (Nasdaq:KONG) and U.S. Steel The United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) is an integrated steel producer with major production operations in the United States and Central Europe. The company is the world's seventh-largest steel producer ranked by sales (see list of steel producers).  (NYSE:X). Full analysis of all four stocks is available at http://at.zacks.com/?id=2676.

Here is a synopsis of all four stocks:

Bull of the Day:

Our Bull of the Day recommendation is for Acusphere, Inc. (Nasdaq:ACUS), a specialty pharmaceutical/drug delivery company. It develops new drugs and improves formulations of existing drugs using its proprietary microparticle technology. We are impressed with the science and technology platform at Acusphere. The lead clinical candidate, AI-700 for myocardial perfusion imaging myocardial perfusion imaging A technique in which the regional distribution of blood throughout the myocardium, is determined by injecting a radiopharmaceutical–eg, 201Tl. , is in phase III Noun 1. phase III - a large clinical trial of a treatment or drug that in phase I and phase II has been shown to be efficacious with tolerable side effects; after successful conclusion of these clinical trials it will receive formal approval from the FDA  trials. Although this technology is new and unproven, we believe that Acusphere stock is attractive at the current level given the very cheap valuation. We continue to rate the shares a BUY with a $9 target.

Bear of the Day:

Our Bear of the Day recommendation is for ProQuest Company (NYSE:PQE). ProQuest expects its accounting review will result in the restatement of earnings reported for fiscal years 2000 to 2004 and for the first three quarters of 2005. The company also provided 2006 revenue and EBIT EBIT

guidance. Consequently, we have downgraded the stock from a Hold to a Sell, and the target price has been set to $10.

Analyst Blog:

Kongzhong (Nasdaq:KONG) recently reported its excellent financial results of the first quarter. Although the Chinese wireless value-added services market has seen increasingly intense competition, and its relationship with Chinese telecom operators has had a great effect on Kongzhong's business, Kongzhong's leading position on 2.5G platform in China will help the company make full use of the wireless value-added service opportunity in the future.

U.S. Steel (NYSE:X) is the seventh-largest steel producer in the world, the second largest integrated steel producer in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  and one of the largest integrated flat-rolled producers in Central Europe Central Europe is the region lying between the variously and vaguely defined areas of Eastern and Western Europe.  higher flat-rolled contract prices. Further, volume growth will be buoyed by capacity expansion in Europe, which is showing favorable demand trends. United Steel also has strong cash flow position. All these lead us to raise our outlook on the stock to a Buy with a six-month target price of $72.00.
