EMC Insurance Group Inc. (Nasdaq:EMCI) reported fourth-quarter earnings of $1.34 per share in late February, which topped the consensus estimate by nearly 5% and was ahead of the year-ago total. The company's shares offer a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 13.66 and a price-to-book (P/B) multiple of 1.34.

First United Corporation (Nasdaq:FUNC), a Zacks #1 Rank (Strong Buy) name, is a one-bank holding company with two non-bank subsidiaries. In late February, the company posted fourth-quarter earnings of 69 cents per share, which was ahead of the year-prior performance. FUNC satisfies the criteria for this Profit Track with a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 11.02 and price-to-book (P/B) multiple of 1.48.

Timberland Bancorp, Inc (Nasdaq:TSBK) released fiscal first-quarter financial results in late January. Earnings per share of 55 cents topped the consensus estimate by 10% and improved on last year's 40 cents. TSBK noted that the increased earnings per share was primarily a result of increased net interest income and decreased non-interest expenses. The company offers a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 13.75 and a price-to-book (P/B) multiple of 1.34
