 ZILA TO ACQUIRE NEW TECHNOLOGY
 PHOENIX, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Zila, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZILA),


announced today the signing of letters of agreement with Medical Polymers of Sacramento, Calif., for the exclusive rights to manufacture and distribute Medical Polymers' line of products, developed and formulated for use by the oral care professional. The letters of agreement provide for the assignment by Medical Polymers to Zila of patent rights to all products.
 Zila expects to have definitive contracts completed before the end of December and anticipates that distribution of the first of the new products will commence in early 1992. These products will complement those already marketed by Zila.
 More specific information on the new product line will be released upon the signing of contracts and final approval by Zila's board of directors.
