ZIEBART INTERNATIONAL SIGNS MASTER FRANCHISE AGREEMENT FOR SAUDI ARABIA
DETROIT, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Ziebart International Corporation has signed a Master Franchise agreement for Saudi Arabia with Ali Rashid Al-Dossary & Partners Company. Al-Dossary Global Business Company, located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, has been established to handle Ziebart TidyCar franchising in Saudi Arabia.
Ali Rashid Al-Dossary Company, as the Master Franchise Holder for Saudi Arabia, now has exclusive rights to franchise Ziebart TidyCar dealerships in Saudi Arabia. The first Ziebart TidyCar location in Saudi Arabia opened in the city of Dammam in July. It is the largest Ziebart TidyCar Center in the world with more than 1,000 square meters (10,000 square feet) of space.
In 1990, Ziebart and TidyCar were combined into a joint Ziebart TidyCar franchise.
"We can now offer our detailing services, accessories and protection products to the Saudi Arabian consumer for the first time," said Thomas R. Cunningham, vice president of international operations.
Cunningham said that the volume of vehicles in Saudi Arabia is increasing which means that more people are interested in extending the life and appearance of their cars and trucks.
"Saudi Arabia is a very exciting market for us with a great deal of potential," said Cunningham.
Ziebart has been successfully represented in the Mid-East for over 20 years. There are dealer locations in Saudi Arabia, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and soon in Kuwait.
In 1993, Cunningham said that the company's major international expansion focus will be on the European community.
There are more than 700 Ziebart locations in 40 countries.
